First: Past, The Post.

Past

This post marks the end of an era (though some might claim it to be the continuation of an error) for me. Not only have I moved from blogger, but I have also forsaken my former nom-de-plume (The Transformer), partly because I was also using my real name on blogger and it was a bit confusing; partly because I never really liked the moniker (it was a variation on the ‘frasertron’ theme, which was the only nickname I had).

I’ve really enjoyed the last two years on blogger. Google has been good to me, and when they buy or annex the world I, for one, will welcome our new Google overlords. But the world turns, the seasons change, and baby bloggers grow up and leave the nest. It’s time to spread my wings, shut my eyes and jump.

Coming Soon:

Obviously, I’ve barely begun to customise this site. In the next few days I hope to sort out the sidebar, add some links, and upload a new header image. At some stage in the near future, I will go through The Transformer’s archives separating wheat from chaff, and add the bits and pieces of creative writing from the last couple of years to this site.

Hey, maybe the reason your html went funny was that you had your eyes shut (and possibly were jumping)…

Yeah looks good. As one to whom the wonders of website creation are a complete mystery, I stand (sit) in awe of this achievement. May you greatly prosper in this new phase of life.

I actually have very little understanding of what I’m doing, so I’m fortunate in that Brehaut is at hand.

Nice site, look foward to some more content.

BTW I had to copy and paste the @ symbol from another site as they don’t appear to be included on Finnish keyboards.

If you look under the tools section there is an option that allows you to import all your blogger posts into wordpress.

Yeah, I saw that, but I don’t want all my blogger posts here, which is why I went through and copied the good ones.

    Hey Fraser,
Nice… one day I’ll get around to making myself a proper site too… but blogger will have to suffice in the mean time.
Keep up the writing… I look forward to this short story!
