Well, I’m back in town. I had a great time in Nelson with my family over the last week, and am both fatter and more tanned than my pre-Christmas self. Tomorrow and Thursday I’ll be back at the church office in the mornings and moving house in the afternoons; Friday and Saturday I’ll do my last two shifts ever (God willing) at The Warehouse.

Sunday doesn’t look good for the barefoot hike - I will probably have a meeting for the China trip in the afternoon, and I’m busy at church in the morning and evening. It looks as though we’ll have to postpone things until February (unless you want to go barefoot hiking without me, which of course you can do. I’ll be there in spirit).

China is exactly one week away.
