make words up. when people accuse you of making words up, tell them that you have a linguistics degree…

You certainly have the vocab… you just need to utilise the bonus squares more effectively… for eg ‘titty’ would have got you 8 extra points if you’d made it one square to the right…

It’s not just about vocab, or placement, but the major skill involved is reshuffling the letters in your head to see the possibilities — so that then you can choose the best one each turn.

LOL i have decided that university education makes no difference when it comes to scrabble, I am the only one in my family to have a degree (actually 2) and the rest of my family always beat me, including my youngetr sister who is still at secondary school!

As I found out last weekend I suck at Scrabble but probably because I do not know enough words.
